Francia Raisa is an American actress, model, and dancer. Her credits include Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006), Fired Up! (2009), and the series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She hosts the radio program “WTFrancia” on the Main Stage on Dash Radio. Raisa was born Francia Raisa Almendarez on July 26, 1988 in Los Angeles, California. Her father, Renan Almendarez Coello, is Latin radio personality “El Cucuy”. Her mom’s name is Virginia Almendarez. She has two younger sisters, Italia and Irlanda. Raisa starred as “Alex Delgado” opposite Matt Lanter in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream (2008). Her role was reprised two years later in The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice (2010). She had a supporting role in Fired Up! (2009) starring Eric Christian Olsen and Nicholas D’Agosto. Her more recent films include Chastity Bites (2013) with Allison Scagliotti, and Beyond Paradise (2016) with Ryan Guzman.

Raisa is probably best known for her role in the ABC teen drama series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She starred as “Adrian Lee” from the show’s inception in 2008 until it ended in 2013. She won a Gracie Allen Award in 2011 for Outstanding Female Rising Star in a Drama Series. She was also nominated for a Teen Choice Award and an ALMA Award.
